Florian Luft

I am a seconded teacher in the Department of Empirical Teaching and School Research at the Institute of Educational Science. Prior to my employment at the university, I taught German and Catholic Religion at secondary level I and II.

I work in the research and junior research college Di.ge.LL, a cooperative project of the University of Freiburg and the Freiburg University of Education. The goal of the college is to develop digital teaching and learning settings and to investigate how learners can be cognitively activated in a digital learning environment in a targeted way. In the context of my dissertation, I am researching digital learning diaries. In this context, I am investigating to what extent the different media realization forms of the learning diary in writing versus audio/video have an effect on learning motivation and learning success (with different writing skills).

In teaching, I offer courses on core competencies of teaching as well as pedagogical-psychological diagnostics.
