Laura Reichenbach

I am doing my doctorate with Prof Dr Matthias Nückles in the section of Empirical Teaching and School Research at the Department of Educational Sciences. I am also a scholarship holder in the research and junior research college Di.ge.LL (phase 2), a cooperation project between the University of Freiburg and the Freiburg University of Education. The aim of the college is to develop digital teaching and learning settings and to investigate how learners can be specifically cognitively activated in a digital learning environment. As part of my dissertation, I am focussing on digital learning journals. I am investigating the extent to which the integration of AI language models such as ChatGPT affects the activation of cognitive and metacognitive learning strategies, learning success and learning motivation.
