Stereotypes can manifest themselves in language. In this subproject we will deal with the extent to which the Linguistic Category Model (LCM) is applicable to German language and in particular to teacher language and develop a German category system.
The web-based IAT developed by Dr. Meike Bonefeld to measure performance-related and affective attitudes towards Turkish and German people can be used and adapted in a variety of ways and is intended to enable the measurement of implicit associations in different contexts.
