I am a Doctoral Research Associate in the section Education und Socialisation at the Department of Educational Science. In the project ElKi I investigate how home learning environment and parental emotional support influence the academic adjustment of first graders. In particular, I focus on children who are considered difficult due to their temperament. I want to find out whether the parent coaching Tuning in to Kids® helps families with such children to manage the time of school entry in a more relaxed and successful way.
