Helen Ernst

I am a {Doctoral} Student in the section {Empirische Lehr- und Lernforschung} at the Department of Educational Science. In the project SPOT I investigate the self-perceptions of prospective mathematics teachers regarding their professional knowledge. Within this project, I examine the influence that self-assessment accuracy in domains of professional knowledge exhibits on the quality of lesson preparations. I am further interested in the relationship between self-assessment accuracy and professional self-efficacy.

Currently, my doctoral studies are being funded by the State Graduate Funding of Baden-Württemberg.
