Hadmut Hipp
I am a research assistant at the Institute of Educational Science. Prior to my employment at the university, I taught for several years as a high school teacher at different types of schools and additionally acquired the career qualification for the teaching profession at elementary schools.
In the DFG research project “Modeling, Explaining, Trying Out, and Receiving Feedback: How can the acquisition of core practices be optimally promoted in the training of prospective teachers?” (Prof. Dr. Matthias Nückles, Prof. Dr. Marc Kleinknecht), I am concerned with how so-called “Core Practices” (McDonald et al., 2013), which are defined as interdisciplinary, evidence-based and trainable activities of teaching, can be optimally taught to prospective teachers. The focus here is on teaching the Core Practice of “guiding students* in self-regulated inquiry of specialized texts.”
In teaching, I offer a course on core competencies of teaching.
