Hadmut Hipp

I am a research assistant at the Institute of Educational Science. Prior to my employment at the university, I taught for several years as a high school teacher at different types of schools and additionally acquired the career qualification for the teaching profession at elementary schools.

In the DFG research project ACTion – “The Acquisition of Core Practices in Teacher Education” (Prof. Dr. Matthias Nückles, Prof. Dr. Marc Kleinknecht), I am concerned with how core practices of teaching (McDonald et al., 2013) can be optimally taught to prospective teachers. The focus is on teaching core practices in the domain of practice “supporting students’ self-regulated reading of scientific texts”.

In the training of prospective teachers at our institute, I offer courses on core competencies in classroom practice.
