Jessica Schulz

I am a doctoral student in education at the Freiburg Institute for Basic Income Studies (FRIBIS) and am pursuing my dissertation under Prof. Dr. Matthias Nückles, one of the founding directors.

My research focusses on the question of the influence of an unconditional basic income on individual learning processes. Synergy effects between self-regulated learning (SRL) and motivation with the concepts of scarcity and leisure are to be empirically investigated.

As part of my work at FRIBIS, I coordinate the FRIBIS team Universal Basic Income & Gender, in which we investigate basic income from an (intersectional) feminist perspective.
